Same playbook: spread misinformation, restrict access, then ban it entirely. &#8220;Personhood&#8221; laws that give embryos legal rights threaten both abortion and IVF. In 2024, Alabama&#8217;s Supreme Court ruled life begins at conception. The result: IVF services shut down statewide overnight, denying care to families mid-treatment.<\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Fertility care is mainstream, <\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-strikethrough-none text-decoration-underline\">not rare<\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-strikethrough-none text-decoration-none\">.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA block-font-kerning-normal block-font-feature-liga-off block-font-feature-clig-off block-font-feature-calt-off direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">13+ million babies worldwide born through fertility care.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">~100,000 IVF births in the U.S. every year.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">1 in 6 people globally will experience infertility.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">1 in 3 Americans has used IVF or knows someone who has.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"cvGsUA block-font-kerning-normal block-font-feature-liga-off block-font-feature-clig-off block-font-feature-calt-off direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">This isn&#8217;t a fringe issue. Seven in 10 Americans, across party and religious lines, support IVF access. Politicians pushing restrictions are ignoring their own constituents, and the science.<\/span><\/p><div><div><div><p>Access is not equal.<\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA block-font-kerning-normal block-font-feature-liga-off block-font-feature-clig-off block-font-feature-calt-off direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">No state requires Medicaid to cover IVF. Most insurance doesn&#8217;t either. Black and Indigenous communities face higher infertility rates and steeper barriers to care. LGBTQ+ people are often excluded from coverage entirely.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"cvGsUA block-font-kerning-normal block-font-feature-liga-off block-font-feature-clig-off block-font-feature-calt-off direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Our communities deserve access to comprehensive care<\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">, not laws that restrict their options.<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
