Latino/a Advocacy Day

Political power starts with YOU! Thank you for joining us for the 14th Annual Latino/a Advocacy Day! We had over 300 Latinx community members from across the state each day unify in Denver to lobby and advocate for their friends, families, and neighbors at the Capitol. Check back for more information for the 15th Annual Latino/a Advocacy Day (LAD).

This program provides advocacy trainings and briefings on policy issues that most impact Latinos in Colorado. Latina/o Advocacy Day or LAD is a daylong advocacy experience that draws statewide participation.

Over 200 Latinxs from across Colorado come together in Denver every year. TWO HUNDRED policy advocates swarming the State Capitol to demand change for our communities. Picture that!

A dynamic group of mostly Latinx youth, come together each year to connect, learn and advocate for and with each other on issues impacting education, immigration, health, civic and reproductive rights, environmental and economic justice. Trainings include legislative briefings on current bills and best practices pertaining to lobby visits. We lift our collective voices and meet with legislators to advocate for the needs of our communities.
