We build our families. We control our futures.
We believe that each of us should be able to make our own decisions about if and when to become parents. That means everyone, rich or poor, needs to be able to access the full range of reproductive health services, including abortion, contraception, prenatal care and maternity care.
But, many Coloradans, particularly people of color, immigrants, young people, and low-income families, face significant barriers to getting access to abortion care and all the reproductive health care they need.
There is always an opportunity to sign-up and volunteer with us! 👏🏽 If you’re someone that’s passionate about reproductive justice and centering the voices of Latinxs across Colorado, then this is an opportunity for you.
How you can get involved:
-
- Canvassing: Do you like to talk on the phone or send texts? You can make a great impact in your community by doing something that is second-nature to you, like simply clicking send on a text message.
-
- Attend in-person and virtual events: Join the COLOR staff at community events. Get to know community partners, share why Reproductive Justice is important to you, and learn from community leaders – all while enjoying an event.
-
- Become a COLOR Ambassador: raise awareness and promote our work and reproductive justice values via social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tik Tok. This typically involves working with COLOR’s communications team and using social media content to promote COLOR. You can help us by signing and share petitions, provide testimony to our legislative officials, share your story, data entry, artivism, and more!
- 2024 Policy Volunteers: Ever wondered what goes on inside the Colorado Capitol? Are you interested in being a COLOR Policy Volunteer? If this sounds like you, please fill out this quick form to know what issues you’re passionate about, what you’d like to learn more about, and what stories you’d like to share with the folks in power. Your story and your voice matter!
