Latino/a Advocacy Day

The 15th annual Latino/a Advocacy Day is scheduled for March 14th and 15th, 2021. Register here: bit.ly/2021LAD

This program provides advocacy trainings and briefings on policy issues that most impact Latinos in Colorado. Latina/o Advocacy Day or LAD is a daylong advocacy experience that draws statewide participation.

Over 200 Latinxs from across Colorado come together in Denver every year. TWO HUNDRED policy advocates swarming the State Capitol to demand change for our communities. Picture that!

A dynamic group of mostly Latinx youth, come together each year to connect, learn and advocate for and with each other on issues impacting education, immigration, health, civic and reproductive rights, environmental and economic justice. Trainings include legislative briefings on current bills and best practices pertaining to lobby visits. We lift our collective voices and meet with legislators to advocate for the needs of our communities.
