COLOR's policy and advocacyCOLOR works in many different arenas to protect and promote Latina reproductive justice 1) Coalition work- COLOR is one of the few voices for Latina Reproductive Justice in Colorado at the state capitol and in progressive policy coalitions 2) COLOR co-convenes the Latina/o Advocacy Day, which brings our community's voice into civic participation, engagement and lobbying. 3) Direct voter engagement and electoral work- COLOR brings the issues most important to our community, to our community! In 2009, COLOR is working to ensure that Latina/o student success is a critical part of school board elections in Denver Public Schools. 4) COLOR works with both state and national policy partners to create long-term strategies for Latina Reproductive Justice To volunteer with COLOR, contact Daniel at 303-393-0382 or via email. ps.
