Cafecitos
Cafecitos are a small-group outreach model that engages primarily Latino parents and reaches an average of 15 parents each time. The intimate setting is culturally appropriate and very effective in leveraging trust and building rapport with an adult audience, mostly immigrant, Spanish-speaking families. Cafecitos help to inform, organize and mobilize participants around reproductive justice issues.

Cafecitos Testimony
“I have participated in your cafecitos for the last two years and you have no idea how much you have changed my life with your talks. Now I have better communication with my sons and my husband. I feel that I’m more prepared to provide sexual education in a more comprehensive way to my sons. Now I know that talking naturally about the body is the best way to help them make the best decisions.
Thank you Gina, your work has changed my life. I’m still a very religious person, but also informed.”
