We are looking for an Organizing and Civic Engagement Director!

The Organizing & Civic Engagement Director position plays a key role in the advancement and expansion of the Latinx electorate and the Reproductive Justice movement in the state and is responsible for the year-round coordination and alignment of COLOR’s organizing and civic engagement. This position will supervise and help lead the Organizing team and will be responsible for hiring and managing seasonal campaign staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The position is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Executive Director and is based in Denver, CO. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to COLOR’s vision, mission, and programs.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Excellent strategic and written communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with EveryAction, VAN, and Google Workspace

We are looking for a Vaccine Equity Communications Coordinator!

The Vaccine Equity Communications Coordinator is an exempt position, part-time through May 2022, reporting to the Communications & Policy Manager. The position is based in Denver, CO, and is responsible for working closely with the Vaccine Equity Program Coordinator to help guide and implement a one year project with CDC Equity Alliance, and must demonstrate a commitment to COLOR’s vision, mission, and programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fulfill one year contract with CDC Equity Alliance
    • Educate our community about the COVID vaccine through digital communications campaigns
    • Work with vaccine program coordinator to plan COVID outreach, events, and field campaigns to communities that are currently and have been historically underserved and under-resourced, including promotion of partner vaccine clinics.
  • Support on the creation of internal and external materials for the COLOR staff and community.
    • Materials may include: up-to-date messaging on news about COVID-19, vaccine clinics, outreach in Colorado, and more. 
  • Support in ensuring the accuracy of external materials around vaccine equity.
  • Take part in meetings pertaining to (but not limited) continued changes on vaccine measures in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region, and around the country. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to work on teams.
  • Strong familiarity with Google Docs, various Socials Platforms, and Email.
  • Preferred knowledge in Facebook Analytics, Twitter Analytics, Instagram Analytics and EveryAction.

Our Youth of COLOR fellowship program is back in full swing! We are proud to announce that we are looking for three highly motivated and creative youth to organize in the areas of policy, communications, and organizing.

The Youth of COLOR is a fellowship program that selects and engages three fellows in the areas of policy, communications, and organizing. Fellows contribute key movement leadership in helping to mobilize peers, in urban and rural spaces, through recruitment, storytelling efforts, and overall youth engagement.
