Latinas Increasing Political Strength (LIPS) Program!
Latinas Increasing Political Strength (LIPS) is a leadership institute designed for Latinas, by Latinas.
Our goal is to empower young people into taking action on issues they care about. The program is open to young persons 16-21 years old in the Denver metro area, and engages participants in a vibrant community of activists.
At the end of the program, we travel to Washington D.C.* to put those skills to use lobbying federal legislators and advocate for issues impacting their communities.
(*D.C. trip is contingent on state & federal COVID-19 public health and travel regulations.)
Civic Engagement Coordinator
The Civic Engagement Coordinator position plays a key role in the overall field and outreach programming with both COLOR’s C3 and C4 side. This role will work with the Organizing team on the advancement and expansion of the Latinx electorate, identifying new members for the organization, and advancing the Reproductive Justice movement in the state, for both C3 and C4 priorities. They will manage a canvassing team with a goal of building power for our communities.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to COLOR’s vision, mission, and programs.
We are looking for a Finance Director who values justice and equity for ALL people. The Finance Director is a full-time, exempt position that reports directly to the Executive Director. This position is based in Denver, CO.
